Gaile announced in a past Dev Update that they would add new Sunspear and Lightbringer skills, and that the Sunspear skills in particular would help Mesmers in PvE. (supposedly...)

Might as well keep these PvE-only skills in the same topic to maintain Guru organization.

If you obtain one of these skills, post a picture of the skill-text and icon, and the rank obtained, if applicable.

This thread was being derailed before Hard Mode had even been released, which is pretty bad. If you're wondering where your posts have gone, I shifted them here.
Can't merge threads, but I can move single posts in small amounts.

I'm closing this thread for now lest history repeat itself, to be re-opened as soon as able upon or close to the release of Hard Mode. At that time, I hope posts will be more on-topic and constructive.

According to the update notes no skills have been added as of yet and are planned to be introduced in the game in a coming update...

That is correct. We're still testing the PvE-only skills -- shouldn't be long now!

Great ... Loving the new update (EVERY SINGLE ASPECT OF IT!)

btw will the new skills be class spacific or generic?

The weekend update says we can gain lb and sp, in normal and hard mode. I can get sunspear in hard but not in normal (no place to get bounty so far, in normal). ???

It’s a well-known secret that the Mesmer can get the "Sunspear Signet of Super Leetness". This fast casting Signet will be so amazingly desirable that every PUG out there will want a real primary Mesmer in their party.

You just get DOUBLE the points in Normal. It doesn't say you can get points if you've already gotten your normal mode cap.

Thanks, Bankai. I was afraid of that LOL. Oh well full group, 2 mm's 2 Fire Ele's and the hard mode mobs drop just like the rest.. (Ya gotta love a group of 28 :P 20 minions and 8 group members.)
